Feng Shui Education

Beginning in 1997

My feng shui education began with the Black Sect Tantric Buddhist Feng Shui School made popular in the west by Grandmaster Lin Yun. David Daniel Kennedy was my full-time teacher and mentor for nearly 1 year.

In parallel, I studied Taoism as taught by Master Hua Ching Ni and was under the advisement of his son Dr. Maoshing Ni. The Ni family founded the Yo San University and the Tao of Wellness in Santa Monica, California. I met with Master Ni personally regarding my feng shui studies and he acknowledged that I would be, "helping young people hold onto their money and offering insight into challenges with infertility", as it pertained to the feng shui of homes. Master Ni has written over 50 books on Taoism including a translation of the I Ching.

The study of Taoism is essential to understanding yin/yang theory as well as the conceptualization of subtle energy and gross energy which is fundamental to feng shui education. The understanding of both has been invaluable in my assessment and approach to the feng shui of a home or business.

I studied the Classical feng shui methods (Form School, Flying Stars and Water Methods) with Master Peter Leung, teacher and practitioner of Chinese Metaphysical Arts and David Twicken author and instructor at the Emperor's College in Santa Monica California. I have also been tutored by students of Masters Larry Sang and Joseph Yu.

I spent one year under the advisement of Dr. Baolin Wu which culminated in an intensive on-site feng shui course. Dr. Wu wrote, Lighting the Eye of the Dragon, he is an I Ching and Qi Gong master and has consulted for projects in Beijing and Hong Kong. He practices medicine in Santa Monica, California.

I also studied with French master geomancer and dowser, Dominique Susani. This type of study enables you to understand the natural and man-made energy fields that are present in an environment and how to create an energetically harmonius living space.

Complementary Studies to Feng Shui:

I studied color through the Aura Soma system of color ( 3 levels of training) which interprets the language of color relating to the mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of life. This has been a very valuable tool for analyzing the environment.

I have observed and participated in the clinical application of kinesiology under Drs. Young and Shen, M.D. and Ryan Hallmark, D.C. As a participant and observer it was clearly evident that the living space and or aspects of it will either test strong or weak for the individual.

In addition to my feng shui education, I have been a student, researcher and consumer of complementary medicine and modalities for health and well-being most of my life. I offer my clients a vast amount of information and resources about different modalities and their efficacy.

I am a real estate investor and have a passion for refurbishing homes.
